OCTOBER 18, 2026 — “MAKING ROOM FOR GOD”
Scripture: Luke 10:38–42 | Theme: I AM MAKING ROOM. | One thing is needed.
Sometimes the things that distract us are not bad things at all—they are good responsibilities, good work, and good intentions that have filled every available space. In the home of Martha and Mary, Jesus gently names the danger of being “worried and distracted by many things” and points us again toward the one thing that is needed: his presence. Before the busy seasons of Thanksgiving, Advent, and Christmas arrive, this Sunday invites us to ask: Is there room in my schedule, my attention, and my heart for Christ? Come and discover how making room for God can reorder everything else.
Sunday, November 1st will be Amy Ward’s Celebration of Life at 11 am. Worship on Sunday, November 1st, will be at 10 am. Communion for November will be on November 8th.
