May 23rd, we will collect a special, Pentecost offering. “Help youth begin life with a solid foundation of faith. Psalm 71 testifies that a foundation of faith established during childhood helps ensure lifelong faith and service. The patterns and lessons established during these formative years continue to bear fruit throughout a person’s life. By receiving the Pentecost Offering, you are nurturing the faith of those who are the church to come — children, youth, and young adults.” CPC keeps 40% to donate to a local organization that supports children, youth and young adults. CPC will be donating our portion to the Gage East Empowerment Center.
Blue Sky Conversations – Creative verbiage is welcomed as a tagline for our projects going forward, to rally around and identify CPC in the broader community. Share your ideas for a memorable image or phrase, to be discussed Sunday, May 16.
Preparations are being made for a return to in-person worship! The Covid plan was approved by Session on Tuesday, May 4. It is available here. Sunday, May 23, we will return to indoor, in-person worship!
