A super typhoon has pounded the Philippine Islands, causing massive death and destruction. One of the largest and deadliest storms of the century, Typhoon Haiyan has knocked over trees and buildings and left survivors without food, water or electricity. Such a catastrophe raises questions of how God is at work (or not) in natural disasters, and how Christians should respond. The document for this week can be found here.
